CET for B.HMCT admissions to be conducted on Oct 10

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) will conduct Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH-B.HMCT-CET) 2020 on October 10.

The hall ticket has already been made available online. The registration process was completed in March. The test was to be held on July 19, but, it was postponed due to the spread of Novel coronavirus across the State.

The examinations will be conducted online in the English medium. Aspirants will have to attempt 100 questions in 90 minutes. Those who qualify will get admission to an undergraduate degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology offered by private and government colleges.

There are three sections in the syllabus. The first section based on Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic) will have 30 questions while the second is the English language that contains 40 questions.

The last section is of general knowledge that will have 30 questions on national and international affairs, culture, trade and commerce, travel and tourism.
