Aurangabad, May 4:

Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil on May 2 had threatned the OBC community leader, food and civil supplies minister Chhagan Bhujbal while reacting to a comment by Bhujbal on the West Bengal elections. Hence the Aurangabad branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Samata Parishad on Tuesday lodged a complaint against Patil at the MIDC police station against Patil.

While speaking to a new channel, Patil had said that Bhujbal should remember that he was only out on bail and that he may have to pay a heavy price. A statement issued by the Parishad to PI Vitthal Pote said that a case should be registered against Patil for publicly threatening Bhujbal, trying to put pressure the authorities and hurting the feelings of OBCs and Mali community. District president Manoj Ghodke, Chandrakant Peharkar, Sandeep Ghodke, Yogesh Hekade, Nagesh Hiwale and others signed the statement.
