Confusion mars at KBH vaccination centre

Aurangabad, May 28:

Sensation prevailed for some time at the Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital vaccination centre after the citizens of age 18 years and above insisted the administration give the Covid-19 vaccine. The issue was resolved after they were given the vaccine through discussion with Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in the afternoon.

It so happened that Bajaj Auto Limited has planned to give the vaccine to its workers at the above centre. Accordingly, the registration of these workers was done on portal CoWin. In the meantime, the citizens of age 18 years and above also registered their names and got the appointment. Hence they arrived at the centre for the vaccine. The administration told that it happened due to a technical mistake, but they insisted on giving the vaccine to them. Hence the administration intervened in the matter and had a discussion with AMC officials was held and then the vaccine was given to them, said the chief administrative officer Dr Natasha Verma. Meanwhile, one Vinay Lahuji said they got the vaccine after persuasion.
