Corona hotspots affected last year have no impact now

Aurangabad, March 15:

The hotspots which were affected by CoronaVirus last year are not affected now. The impact of Corona is seen at the localities earlier not impacted severely.

The administration last year declared those areas as hotspots last year, where maximum Corona patients were found. These areas were sealed completely with iron sheets. Now, Corona pandemic is spreading rapidly once again but its impact is not seen on these hotspots, informed the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health department sources.

Last year, Aref Colony, Jalal Colony, Asefiya Colony, Kileark Panchkuwa, Noor Colony, Kiradpura, Yadavnagar, N-4, Surewadi, Khadkeshwar, Naralibaug, Aurangpura, Gulmandi, Raja Bazar, City Chowk, Mill Corner, and others were the hotspots. The residents of the other area could not go in these hotspots and the residents from here could not come out. Now, when Corona is spreading rapidly, very few patients are being reported from here compared to last year. The experts have opined that the residents in these areas must have developed hard immunity against the Corona Virus. However, the residents should not be negligent and must take proper precautions as per the Corona safety guidelines, they opined.
