CSMC to dedicate Smart Schools

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has organised various programmes to inaugurate and perform bhoomipujan of its various development works in the city tomorrow. The civic administration will also dedicate various projects meant for the citizens.

The guardian minister Sandeepan Bhumre will grace the functions scheduled to be held on April 13 from 10 am to 1 pm.

The CSMC has developed its 55 schools under Smart City Mission. Out of which, the construction of Smart Classrooms has been completed in 20 schools. These schools will be dedicated to the public tomorrow.

The union Minister of States (MoS) Raosaheb Danve and Bhagwat Karad and the state’s cooperative minister Atul Save will be the chief guests, while the state agriculture minister Abdul Sattar, leader of opposition in Legislative Council Ambadas Danve and MP Imtiaz Jaleel will be the guests of the honour.

MLCs Satish Chavan and Vikram Kale and MLAs Haribhau Bagade, Pradeep Jaiswal and Sanjay Shirsat, divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, police commissioner Nikhil Gupta, district collector Astik Kumar Pandey will also grace the functions stated the organiser and municipal commissioner Abhijeet Chaudhari.

The list of works to be dedicated includes a Smart School at Garkheda; vehicles purchased by the municipal corporation; service from Cidco N-9 Fire Brigade Station building; concrete road in Bhagyanagar under Smart City; and construction of Solid waste Lifting and Transporting Station at Ramnagar.

The works of the late Balasaheb Thackeray Memorial Garden will also be inspected on Thursday. The bhoomipujan of the works to strengthen and tarring of the road from Kile-Ark Naubat Gate to the Panchkunwa bridge will also be performed on the occasion.

The independent cell developed to issue building permissions, at Building Number 3, on the CSMC headquarters campus will also be inaugurated tomorrow.
