Disaster management authority will issue all orders for disaster management

Aurangabad, April 9:

It was decided at the meeting of the district disaster management authority today that all the orders regarding disaster management would be issued only by the state disaster management authority and no department would issue any order in this regard independently.

Aurangabad district disaster management authority meeting was held on Friday by the collector and chairman of the district disaster management authority Sunil Chavan. All the instructions in the order from the state disaster management authority will be applicable in the entire Aurangabad district along with these supplementary orders. As per orders, the marriage ceremony should be held only in private places with the no-objection certificate (NOC) of the local police station officer, the application for permission should be submitted to the local self-governing body (Gram Panchayat, municipal council, and municipal corporation) and the permission given by the local self-governing body will be final. Marriages can also be registered at the marriage registration office with a minimum (maximum of 50 people) attendance. It will be mandatory to submit the list of attendees along with name, address and mobile number to the local self-governing authority. Only 20 people will be allowed to attend the funeral. It will be mandatory for the citizens to strictly abide by rules. The district administration will provide manpower to form Covid-19 prohibition squads to curb the unwarranted movement of citizens during the curfew in the city. The local police administration will be responsible for providing police protection to the squad. The Agricultural Produce Market Committee can be continued as an establishment related to agriculture, but in case of violation of the rules related to covid, the APMC will have to be closed till the implementation of the covid notification, the collector said. Work in government offices will also be conducted online. All kinds of historical places, buildings, museums, tourist places in the district will remain closed. Essential services transportation, public transportation has already been started. To ensure the smooth running of the service, tire sales, repair workshops, service centres and spare part sales establishments will be open all day from 7 am to 8 pm. However, washing centres, decor, and similar shops will be closed. All types of optical shops will continue. The offices of chartered accountants will continue. Strict restrictions have been imposed in Aurangabad district on Saturday and Sunday to prevent the spread of covid. Citizens should leave the house only if it is urgent. Orders in this regard have been issued from time to time. ZP chief executive officer Dr Mangesh Gondawale, deputy commissioner of police Deepak Girhe, municipal health officer Dr Nita Padalkar, PI B P Koli were present.

What will remain open:

-Medical service shops.

-News media-related service can be done on all days of the week from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm.

-Milk sales and supply etc. Hotels, restaurants dining facilities will be closed but home delivery parcel service will be open from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm and no citizen will be able to visit any restaurant or bar to avail of these services.

-Vegetable sales and supply

-Fruit sales and supply

-Essentials shops

-Petrol pumps, gas agencies etc.

-All types of transport services (private and government) including rickshaws etc.

-Industries and factories

-Grocery stores (Standalone only)

-Meat shops

-Banks and postal services will be allowed to continue as per their rules.

What will remain close:

-All private offices

-Malls, cinemas and theatres

-Markets, malls (Only grocery section will be open. All other sections will be closed).
