District rises to 6th rank from 10th in 13 days in Corona severity list

Aurangabad, March 24:

On March 11, Aurangabad district was on 10th position in the list of Corona severity in the country now it has raised to sixth position in just 13 days on March 24.

The Corona crisis has grappled the district once again since February after the situation was under control for three months. The severity is felt once again and the patients are on the rise. Maximum patients are found in Maharashtra and nine districts are on the top in the list in the country.

Everyday more than 1000 patients are rising in Aurangabad district while the figure of 1500 was crossed on three occasions in the past fortnight. Hence, the health machinery is worried.

Health deputy director Dr Swapnil Lale said that it is likely that the patients may increase in the other states. The situation is severe in Maharashtra presently and it will remain till May, he said.
