Educational policy for the holistic development of students

Aurangabad, April 30:

As it is ingrained in the minds of the students that in order to get marks in the exams, one has to learn. But now the students have forgotten to learn in order to acquire knowledge. However, Govind Kabra, director, Dnyandeep Foundation Centre (DFC), expressed confidence that the new education policy would take away the flaws in the existing education system and give a boost to the creativity, research attitude and mental and physical abilities of the children.

Campus Club and DFC jointly organised a webinar on April 30. Speaking in the webinar Kabra gave in-depth guidance to the students and parents about the changes taking place in the field of education according to the new educational concept. Talking about the educational concept, he said that according to the new educational policy, all the skills required for holistic development have been included in the curriculum. Therefore, it will automatically encourage people to understand and acquire knowledge by avoiding flaws. According to the new education policy, special attention has been paid to the mental health of students, Kabra said.

Outdoor sports important for mental health

Children are no longer accustomed to hearing denials and accepting failures in exams. As a result, they get depressed very quickly. To prevent this, inculcate the habit of outdoor sports in children from an early age. Winning or losing in sports is a form of vaccination for mental health, said Kabra.
