Expired fire extinguishers replaced in DCH

Aurangabad, Jan 23:

The fire extinguishers that expired two years back in the District Civil Hospital (DCH) have been replaced with the new cylinders now. Lokmat Times had given the news in this regard, and the fire extinguishing cylinders were replaced within 10 days.

The recent fire incident at the DCH at Bhandara, the issue of the safety of the hospitals once again came to the fore. When the fire extinguishers at the DCH in the city were inspected, a shocking fact was known. The cylinders on the walls of the hospital were expired two year back. There were 79 such cylinders at the DCH. The administration has now replaced all these cylinders with the new cylinders, informed the district civil surgeon Dr Sundar Kulkarni.
