Garware company to set up 100-bed covid hospital

Aurangabad, May 8:

A covid care hospital with 100 oxygen beds with updated facilities will be started by Garware Company at Chikalthana. The site and facilities of the hospital were inspected by divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, district collector Sunil Chavan and municipal administrator Astik Kumar Pandey on Saturday.

While the second wave of corona infection in Aurangabad city is on the verge of receding, a third wave is being reported. In preparation for the third wave, the municipal administration has taken appropriate steps and has taken various measures to prevent corona. Meanwhile, a covid care hospital, equipped with 100 oxygen beds with state-of-the-art facilities will be set up by the Garware company at the company's shed at Chikalthana. Oxygen plant, manufacturing plant will be set up in this hospital. While inspecting the premises the officials gave some suggestions. Municipal health officer Dr Nita Padalkar and officers of Garware company were present.
