Heavy rain interrupts power supply at various parts

Aurangabad, Oct 21:

Heavy rain with lightning and thunderstorm lashed the city on Wednesday evening interrupted power supply at various parts of the city. The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) engineers and employees regularized the power supply within a few hours after strenuous efforts.

The Centron Feeder of Chikalthan sub-division Cidco, N-1 area was defunct at 5.30 pm. The power supply was regularized at 7.15 pm. Similarly, the Naregaon and Uttaranagari feeder repairing work was regularized at around 9 pm. The Shahgunj sub-divison’s Surewadi and Bhagatsinghnagar feeder was defunct at 5.45 pm and was regularized at 7 pm. The additional executive engineer of Chikalthana sub-division, Chandrakant Mohadikar and Vinay Ghanbahadur of Shahgunj sub-division, branch engineer and technical employees took efforts to regularize the power supply, informed the MSEDCL sources.
