Homage paid to Bhujangrao Kulkarni in Bamu

Aurangabad, Feb 25:

Rich tributes were paid to former vice-chancellor Bhujangrao Kulkarni in a programme held at Mahatma Phule Hall of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on Thursday.

Speaking at the programme, Pro-VC Dr Shyam Shirsath said that Bhujangrao Kulkarni was a like saint who devoted his whole life to educational, social, and economic development Marathwada.

He said that Marathwada lost a strong supporter in the death of Kulkarni.

Registrar Dr Jaishri Suryavanshi said that Kulkarni had worked on academic and executive councils of the university. Sanjay Shinde conducted the proceedings while Prakash Akade proposed a vote of thanks.

Officers and employees were present.

Dean of Commerce and Management Science faculty Dr Walimik Sarwade, director of Board of Examination and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil, Dr Kailas Pathrikar, deputy registrar Dilip Bharad, Dr Ganesh Manza, Dr Pratap Kalawant and others were present. VC Dr Pramod Yeole has sent a condolence message to the family of Kulkarni.
