Aurangabad, March 16:

There is a massive rise in Coronavirus patients in the district during the past one and a half months. On the contrary, the death ratio has got reduced during the period. The ratio of state and the district is now equal.

The district's situation was under control from October 2020 to January 2021, but witnessed a rise in patients from February. There was an addition of 11,816 Covid-19 patients in past one and a half month. However, 106 persons had lost their lives. The death ratio, which was 2.63 per cent (on February 1), has dropped to 2.28 pc (recorded on March 15). Meanwhile, the ratio of the state is 2.27 pc.

To overcome the critical situation, the private hospital and government hospital have reunited to fight against the Coronavirus and treat the infected patients. Meanwhile, the health administration is worried about how to curb the critical situation and the death ratio in the district.
