Hundreds of 'irresponsible' citizens spotted moving on roads during lockdown

Aurangabad, April 3:

The district administration had announced partial lockdown in the district till April 4 including total lockdowns on Saturdays and Sundays. Despite repeated appeals made by the administration not to step out of the homes without any urgent work or valid reason. It was quite disheartening to see irresponsible citizens taking the orders for granted.

There was a huge rush of people moving on the roads today in Cidco, Hudco, Osmanpura, Sutgirni Chowk, Shivajinagar, on Jalgaon Road, on Jalna road, on Railway Station Road, on Shahnoormiyan Dargah Road, on Beed Bypass Road, on Paithan Road etc. The movement of two-wheelers and four-wheelers was in large number. Many of them were seen standing on the side of roads and chatting for hours at a stretch. There is a large number of grocery and medical shops in Shivajinagar, Hudco and surrounding areas. Hence the impact of lockdown was not seen in these localities today.
