I could not be good son-in-law

Aurangabad, March 15:

Accused Siddhesh Trivedi of the Kavita Trivedi murder case, expressed his remorse for killing his wife in a letter to his father-in-law Jadish Ishwrrao Avasthi (Lohoner, Nashik). He said in the letter that he could not become a good son-in-law and was not aware that what had happened to him and committed this mistake.

Under the guidance of Chikalthana police station API Vishwas Patil, a team including PSI Pradeep Thube, constable Ravindra Salve, Deepak Surashe and S B Ghuge arrested Siddhesh from Diu and Daman on Saturday. He was remanded in the police custody till March 20.

Siddhesh, on February 15, killed his wife Kavita by hitting a dumbbell on her head over a dispute of selling her jewellery. He then locked his son and daughter with the deceased Kavita in his flat at Rukhmini Square Apartment at Pisadevi and fled away on his Scooty. He later went to Pune and to Delhi by flight.

Now, he is regretting his deeds. He wrote a letter even to his stepbrother at Aurangabad and told him that he was not good with him and later wrote a letter to his father-in-law.

Meanwhile, he was at large for a month. After staying for some days in Delhi, he frequently changed his whereabouts. He went to Manali from Delhi and to Chandigarh, Haridwar, Jaipur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Lucknow. He again came to Jaipur and went to Ahmedabad from where he went to Diu and Daman. All his money was over in this journey. He stayed on the seashore and ate whatever he could get.
