Implementation of old pension scheme for deceased teachers

Aurangabad, April 29:

District president of Punjabrao Deshmukh Shikshak Parishad M M Khate has demanded for implementation of old pension scheme and compassionate appointment scheme for all deceased teachers who joined government service after 2005. He also made a statement to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray.

The statement said, according to the new policy of the government, the old pension scheme and compassionate appointment are not applicable to the teachers who joined the government service after the year 2005. Many teachers who joined the government service after 2005 have unfortunately died due to various reasons. The family of the deceased teacher is living a very miserable life as they are not getting a pension. The families are facing many problems regarding the education of children and managing daily expenses. The statement has the signatures of Khute, Arun Gorde, Bhaskar Gopal, Govind Gaikwad, Atmaram Gorde and others.
