Industries come forward for GMCH

Aurangabad, April 1:

The facilities at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) are falling short due to the increased havoc of the Corona pandemic. Considering the situation, the city industrialists have come forward to help the GMCH. Bajaj Company will provide 25 ventilators and other industrialists 25 to increase the capacity at the GMCH. Two ventilators have already been handed over to the administration today. District collector, Sunil Chavan, Bajaj Company’s C P Tripathi, industrialists Kamlesh Dhoot, Prasad Kokil, Abhay Jaripatke, acting dean Dr Varsha Rote, Dr Sudhir Chaudhary, Dr Jyoti Bajaj – Irawane, Dr Amol Joshi, acting medical superintendent Dr Vikas Rathod and others were present.

Chavan said, the industrialists will also provide a RTPCR testing machine due to which the Corona tests will increase. It is not the time to organize procession and celebration. The capacity of the GMCH will be increased to 1000 beds. Still, the residents should use masks and follow social distancing, he appealed to the residents.
