Lovebirds end life in Jalna

In a suspected suicide pact, two lovebirds committed suicide by flinging themselves before a Aurangabad-bound train at Jalna near here on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Sheetal Sharad Kanhe (18, Pakharkheda in Ambad tehsil, Jalna district) and Tushar Premchand Ragde (19, Chandanjhira, Jalna).

Chandanjhira police inspector Yashwant Jadhav and his team reached the spot immediately.

Bodies were sent for post-mortem.The cause of the suicide is not known. The police found bags of the two. They were identified on the basis of identity cards found on their persons. The police informed their parents. The police said prima facie the couple knew each other and might have been lovers. The police registered a case and are investigating.
