Man held for appearing Delhi Police Force exam for friend

Aurangabad, Nov 28:

The Cidco MIDC police on Friday arrested a man for appearing for the Delhi police force examination for the recruitment of post of constable in name of his friend. The arrested has been identified as Arjun Baburao Bighot.

Online examination was held across the country on November 27 for filling the vacant posts of constables in the Delhi police force. The examination was held at Ion Digital Zone at Chikalthana MIDC. The candidate Amol Gadve (Kelgaon, Aurangabad) had examination at this centre. However, Arjun appeared for the examination for Amol. However, the IT manager of the centre Prashant Mahakal, saw him talking in a low voice with someone with one hand on his ear. Mahakal got suspicious and checked his hall ticket. He found that the picture on the hall ticket was different. Later, the centre manager, Manoj Prabhakar Ambade, informd about it to the Cidco MIDC police. Police arrived and searched Arjun and found two micro fly ear phones, a transmeter, ATM card, blue tooth device with him. It was clear that he was telling the questions to someone outside the centre and received answers from him. A case has been registered at the Cidco MIDC police station on the basis of the complaint lodged by Manoj Ambade while PSI Sanjay Mate is further investigating the case.

The police informed that Arjun Bighot took Rs 1 lakh for appearing the examination. The court has remanded him in the police custody for two days, informed PI, Vitthal Pote.
