Man hindering arranged marriage of a girl arrested

Aurangabad, April 10:

A man creating hindrance in an arranged marriage of a girl was arrested by the Karmad police. The incident occurred in a village in Aurangabad tehsil.

According to the details, the marriage of a girl was arranged. But, an unidentified person called the to be husband on phone and lied him that the girl is in love with him and her family members are forcibly getting her married. Hence, he should refuse for the marriage. A case was registered at the Karmad police station in this regard.

PI, Santosh Khetmalas, ordered his subordinates to investigate in the matter. It was found that the mobile number is from Jalna and it was stolen. The phone was stolen. Police constable, Yotehs Tarmale, after investigation arrested a man from Jalna who had made the false calls.

During interrogation, he told that his marriage was arranged with this girl, two years back. However, the girl refused to marry him and hence he made false calls to his future husband to hinder the marriage.

The police then counseled the young man after taking necessary legal action.

The relatives of the girl thanked constable Avinash Chavan, Sunil Gore, Yogesh Tarmale for their assistance.
