Man murdered at Ranjangaon

Aurangabad, Oct 21:

A 35 years old man was murdered by an unidentified person by stabbing with a sharp weapon at Ranjangaon. The incident came to the fore on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Bhimrao Digambar Savte (35, Hadsali, Hadgaon, Nanded, presently staying at Matoshrinagar, Ranjangaon).

Waluj MIDC police received the information of the murder on Wednesday eveing. PI, Madhukar Sawant, API Vijay Gharde, PSI Prashant Gambhirrao and others rushed to the spot. Bhimrao was seen lying in the pool of blood on the bed at his house in a half naked condition. He had injuries marks on face and the body. Blood was splashed on the walls and floor. The murderer closed the house from inside and fled away from the back door.

The forensic team collected the blood samples. DCP, Nikesh Khatmode Patil also visited the murder spot.

Bhimrao is a transporter and owns a truck. He had appointed a driver on the truck. Bhimrao, his wife Vaishali, son Chetan (9) and daughter Sneha (7) lives at Ranjangaon. Few days back, Vaishali had gone to her parents with children at Parbhani due to quarrel with Bhimrao. The murderer after the murder shot the video of the spot and sent it on the mobile phone of Vaishali. After watching the video, she along with other relatives rushed to Ranjangaon. Then the murder came to the fore.

The murderer after the murder scattered the articles in the house to mislead the police that the murder was done for theft. Deceased Bhimrao was the district president of Dalit Cobra Labour Union. He was staying alone at Ranjangaon after his wife and children went to her parents. The police received the information that Bhimrao was whimsical and his neighbours were fed up of his nature. On Tuesday night, the murder might have come with him and they had partied. Around 5 to 6 empty bottles were lying scattered in the house. There was no power supply at night due to heavy rain. The murder fled away from the scene from the back entrance of the house. He also shot a video and sent it to Vaishali on Wednesday morning. He later called her and told that Bhimrao met with an accident.
