Aurangabad, March 14:

Many people were seen moving on roads in different parts of the city on Sunday, the second day of complete lockdown.

It may be noted the administration started implementing a two-day full lockdown in the district to contain the spread of Novel coronavirus.

The full lockdown received a good response from citizens on Saturday, the first day since they did not step out of the home to buy even essential commodities.

People were seen moving on roads on Sunday, the second day. After 3 pm, it looked as if there is no lockdown. Some fruit vendors opened their stalls at Aurangabad though there were no customers. Meat shops were seen open at a few places but had no customer to buy them.

Fearing lockdown, people had bought essential commodities in large quantity on Friday. Vendors sold their fruit at a very lower rate before full lockdown commenced.

Milkmen were given relaxation to sell mill between 6 am to 9 am in full lockdown. People did not purchase milk throughout the day on Saturday. Each of them had 60 per cent unsold milk. The situation was the same on Sunday as well.
