Markets to remain close in support of Bharat Bandh

Aurangabad, Feb 25:

The city markets will remain closed on Friday demanding the repeal of onerous conditions in the GST, fuel price hike, E-Way Bill and abolishing the license tax imposed on traders by the municipal corporation. The Zilla Vyapari Mahasangh is ready to make the bandh a success.

There are 72 organizations working in the city under the mahasangh. All the office-bearers of the mahasangh contacted the presidents and secretaries of all the organizations and requested them to participate in the bandh. They also appealed to the presidents of trade associations in each tehsil to make the closure a success. The bandh has been supported by all trade associations, including the federation of textile traders and transport association. Mahasangh president Jagannath Kale, has appealed to the traders to keep their shops closed and participate in the nationwide shutdown to make the central government aware of the unity and existence of traders in the country.
