Minor girl falls from gallery, dies

Aurangabad, Oct 26:

An 11-year-old girl died after she fell from a gallery of Nupur Apartment at Adinathnagar in Garkheda area of the city on Sunday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Firdous Irfan Pathan (Garkheda).

According to details, Firdous’s aunt is a maidservant. As usual, her aunt was going on her work yesterday. Firdous insisted on going with her.

The girl accompanied her aunt at Nupur Apartment in Adinathnagar. The woman was busy in her works and Firdous was playing in the gallery. Firdous lost balance and fell from the third floor at 3 pm on Sunday.

The minor girl who sustained serious injuries was rushed to a private hospital. Later, she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where she succumbed to her injuries.

A case of accidental death was registered with Pundliknagar Police Station. Police Naik Jagdish Chavan is on the case.
