MP urge ACB to maintain main road of Cantonment

MP Syed Imtiaz Jaleel through a letter drew the attention of the chief executive officer (CEO) of Cantonment Board of Aurangabad (ACB) towards the pathetic condition of its main road in Cantonment (Chawani). He demanded to repair or construct the road extending from toll collection centre (near Little Flower School) to the main market.

The MP underlined that the formation of deep potholes on the road is posing a danger to the vehicle-owners and pedestrians. The road falls under the jurisdiction of ACB. Moreover, being the main road, it is used by students, devotees and other citizens in large numbers daily. They had to face severe inconvenience. They had to negotiate with deep potholes while passing through the road. This practice is causing traffic congestion frequently. Besides, the number of accidents are growing on this route. Hence the board should either repair the road or construct a new one, stated the MP''s letter sent today.
