Aurangabad, March 19:

As corona infection is on the rise, antigens tests will be carried out on all entry points of the city, bus stands and railway stations from Saturday. As a result, more than 50 per cent of the students coming from other districts for MPSC exams on Sunday and will have to undergo antigen testing. If some of them test positive, they will have to skip the examination. No facility will be provided to take them to the examination centre, the district administration said.

The MPSC preliminary exam will be held on March 21. About 19,656 students will appear for the exam at 59 examination centres in Aurangabad. The exam will be held on Sunday morning and afternoon. As there is a complete lockdown on Sunday, students have been instructed to arrange their own water and food while coming for the exams. In all, 1650 officials have been deployed for this examination. RTPCR checks have been made compulsory for the staff posted at the examination centres.

Facility of PPE kit at the centres

The temperature and oxygen level of each student will be measured at the entrance before entering the examination centre. If some students show slight symptoms of corona, separate arrangements will be made for such suspected students to take the exam. Arrangements have also been made for students with severe symptoms to take the exam by wearing PPE kits that will available at each centre.
