No monitoring of patients in home isolation

Corona patients with asymptomatic and mild symptoms are being treated in home isolation. But the health administration has no information about whether the patients in home isolation and the number of doctors monitoring the exact number of patients in home isolation. In addition, many patients are requesting the doctors to not inform the municipal corporation about the treatment.

Doctors in the city are demanding identity cards from patients undergoing home isolation. But many are refusing to give their identity cards. Many people tend to avoid such doctors who ask for an identity card and seek treatment at doctors who do not demand any documentation. Citizens are worried that if the municipal corporation gets the information, the other family members will be tested. At the same time, the health administration has no watch over patients in home isolation. Therefore, patients in home isolation may visit public places leading to further spread of the disease. If a patient in home isolation needs oxygen, then the doctor monitoring the patient needs to help him to be admitted to the hospital. But the corporation has not provided the doctors with any details of patients, said Dr Sanjay Patne, president of the physician association.
