Aurangabad, March 11:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) has decided not to conduct any paper of undergraduate courses examination on Saturdays and Sundays during the partial lockdown.

It may be noted that the university conducts papers on all days in every session depending upon options chosen by the candidates.

The first session examinations of the different undergraduate courses for the academic 2020-21 will commence on March 16.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole instructed the examinations department to follow lockdown measures religiously during the examinations.

The physical distance will be maintained between two students in the examinations.

The administration imposed a lockdown between March 11 and April 4 because of the rise in COVID 19 patients. A separate arrangement will be made at the centre if a student is unwell.

The students were offline and online modes option after an increase in the number of COVID patients. The mock test for online examinations has already begun.
