Parents lodges complaint against TCH school

Aurangabad, Oct 14:

Parents made a complaint with Chikalthana Police Station and Education Department against Tender Care Home (TCH) school for denying online classes access to their children. In the memorandum submitted on Wednesday to Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, officers of Education Department, Education Minister, the parents stated that TCH increased 20 per cent fee for the academic year 2019-20 and 2020-2021.They said that the school stopped the access of online education to the children whose parents opposed or not ready to pay the increased fee.

The parents said that school is causing education loss of their children.“The TCH has not formed the Parents Teachers Association nor increased fee as per the Tuition Fee norms. An enquiry should be held against eduction officer for not taking any action against the school,” they demanded in the statement.

Santosh Bhople, Pramod Kulkarni, Dhananjay Khursale, Satish Tarte, Devraj Kinnur and others signed the memorandum. There are clear directives to the schools from the State Government not to collect fee forcefully nor increase it. Students suffer education losses due to a dispute between parents and the school management.

School Principal Anita Patil said that online classes of all students are going on. “All the students were given access to online education as per the norms. Students face no problem. We are a member of Maharashtra English School Trustees Association (MESTA) and follow its guidelines,” she added.
