People avoid meeting relatives due to Covid-19

Aurangabad, Oct 25:

There is a tradition of going to the temple to take blessings of Goddess in the evening and offering the apta leaves as gold on Dussehra. People also meet relatives and friends and greet each other. But this tradition was partly broken this year due to Covid-19.

Many people celebrated Dussehra with their families at home. This year, the temples are closed. Therefore, citizens took blessings from God from the entrance of the temple in the evening. Many avoided going to relatives this year. The intensity of Covid-19 has now subsided, but citizens are not ready to take any risk. So many avoided meeting family and friends in personal and preferred virtual meeting with relatives and friends. Apta leaves were also exchanged over social media. Many expressed the view that this year''s Dussehra festival is not as expected as the temples are closed and visits to relatives are not possible.
