PET registration date extended for 8 days

Aurangabad, Jan 12:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) on Tuesday extended the last of registration for Ph D Entrance Test (PET) 2020 up to January 18.

The registration process started on January 1 and its last was January 11.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole decided to extend the date for eight days.

The first paper will be conducted on January 30 and its result will be declared on February 1. The candidates will take the second paper on February 21.

The result of this paper will be announced on February 14. The university will make available the combined result of both the papers on February 28.

Those who qualified PET, NET, M Phil, or five years of teaching experience are eligible to apply in March for the presentation before the Research and Recognition Committee (RRC). The presentation will be organised in April.

Those who qualify the test will get the admission to Ph D in various 42 subjects as per the availability of seats.

The list of research guide and availability of seats will be released soon.

Those candidates who were exempted from PET can apply from March 1 and 15 in the second phase.

Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil said that the meeting of RRC would be organised in April. He said that the last date of hardcopy submission in the second phase is March 20.
