Aurangabad police commissionerate issues guidelines for the implementation of the model code of conduct imposed for the general grampanchayat elections counting to be held on January 18.

Accordingly, the prohibitory orders of the commissioner of police and district collector are imposed and the supporters of the candidates should not shout any slogans. They should not organize any celebration by gathering together and breaching the prohibition orders. The residents should not do any act or say anything which will hamper the religious sentiments of others. Due to the Corona crisis, gathering and processions have been banned. The directives in this regard given by time to time by the police should be followed scrupulously. Victory or loss should be accepted peacefully and the supporters should not adopt any means which will hamper the peace. Crackers should not be busted while gulal should not be showered. Disputed hoardings should not be highlighted. No victory meetings or processions should be organized. Do not post any objectionable messages on the social media. No programmes like distributing food, bhandara or jubilant celebration should be organized.
