Police help crying girl to reach exam centre because of lockdown

Aurangabad, March 13:

Police helped a girl to reach the examination centre because of lockdown. It may be noted that a two-day partial lockdown is being implemented in the city from Saturday.

The candidates arrived in the city for Railway Board’s recruitment examination. One of the examinees was a girl who reached here from Buldhana on Friday and stayed at her friend’s hostel.

She came to Paithan Gate at 12.30 pm today to hire an auto-rickshaw to reach the centre (PES College) before 1.30 pm. But, she did not find any auto rickshaw. She walked up to Aurangpura and started crying to see policemen.

PSI Madhav Gaikwad and his accomplices who were on duty asked the reason for her crying. She informed them that she may miss the job opportunity if she cannot reach the centre on time.

PSI Gaikwad asked constable Hanumant Chalnewad to drop to the centre. She was dropped at the centre in eight to 10 minutes. The girl thanked the policeman.
