Police raid gambling den run in name of notorious goon Tipya

Aurangabad, Feb 5:

The Pundliknagar police on Thursday night raided a gambling den run in the name of notorious goon Shaikh Javed alias Tipya by his brother at Vijaynagar. The police have arrested 11 gamblers including Tipya’s brother and seized Rs 48,500 cash, 8 mobile phones and other gambling articles. The arrested have been identified as Tipya’s brother Shaikh Zuber alias Guddu Shaikh Maqsood, Younous Baig Mirza, Satish Bhanudas Hole, Prabhakar Kisan Randive, Imran Bin Abdul Rauf, Vijay Kailas Khare, Anvar Qureshi Firoz Qureshi, Shaikh Khalid Shaikh Iliyas, Ram Sudam Sonawane, Akshay Devidas Lakde and Shankar Pralhad Khandare.

Zuber alias Guddu used run a gambling den in Vijaynagar area. The police received the information about it and API Ghansham Sonawane, PSI Vikas Khatke, Ramesh Sangle and others conducted a raid on Thursday at around 10.30 pm and arrested the operator and gamblers.
