Aurangabad, April 8:
Krishna Patil Dongaonkar said that Minister of State Abdul Sattar made a funny statement by calling him a betrayer.
The atmosphere heated up in recently conducted elections for the post of deputy chairman of Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank (ASCCB). The minister had an accusation on Patil.
He said that Abdul Sattar tried to tarnish his (Patil’s) image by levelling baseless allegations.
“I condemn such an act. I contested and got elected in the election from the panel which was opposite to established people.
So, the minister has no right to make an accusation about my candidature in deputy chairman's election,” he said.
Patil pointed out that Dr Kalyan Kale and Subhash Zambad helped established people’s panel directors in the election than their own panel.
He made it clear that he was in the fray for deputy chairman's post on the support of Minister Sandeepan Bhumre and MLC Ambadas Danve.
He said that he is not a person who would bear anything wrong thing said against him.
“I am a loyal activist. Sattar ditched me for his self-interest without taking into my experience and ability. I consider the minister as a leader who should not treat me like an activist. Had he told me to withdraw the candidature from the deputy chairman’s election, I would have thought it over definitely. He should not make a baseless allegation against me”, he said.
