Separate web portal launched for international students admission

The Foreign Students Cell of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) launched a separate web portal on Monday to facilitate for international students from the admission process to the convocation ceremony.

A meeting of Foreign Students Cell was held today. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole chaired the meeting. Pro-VC Dr Pravin Wakte, director of the Cell Dr Mustajeeb Khan, deputy director Vikas Kumar were also present.

The portal is a one-window where students can register for the course, can upload documents. The pre-admission letter for the visa will be issued if the selection committee found the candidates eligible.

Director of University Network and Information Centre Arvind Bhalerao, programmer Diwakar Pathak, Ravindra Bankar, Yashpal Salve and Sachin Chavan took efforts for the development of the portal.

All the information about certificate, undergraduate, postgraduate courses and Ph D research ceremony was made available for the international students.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole said that the Foreign Students Cell should attract more and more international students for admission. The students can visit the portal (http://online.bamu.ac.in/foreignstudent/) for the admission.
