Students should face exams stressfree: VC

“The examinations of this year will be different for all compared to regular. All students should face the examinations without any stress. We are making sure that no student is deprived of examination,” said Dr Pramod Yeole, vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu).

He was speaking in a live interaction on ‘Education and Examination in Post-COVID Situation’ with students and parents through Facebook on Wednesday.

More than 25,000 students, parents and others participated in the interaction. VC Dr Pramod Yeole said that the new examination pattern is being implemented as per the guidelines of University Grants Commission, chancellor of the universities and State Government.

He said that efforts are being made that students should be able to take the examination from home. “Students of final semester undergraduate and postgraduate courses can opt for online or offline mode of examinations to be held between October 9 and 31.

The result will be declared before Diwali festival. The admission process for UG and PG courses will be implemented after the result. The online classes too will commence instantly,” he asserted.

Earlier, public relations officer Sanjay Shinde made an introductory speech. The vice-chancellor cleared the doubts of students. He said that all officers, employees, teachers and members of authorities and boards.
