Syllabus & marking scheme for MHT-CET 2021 released

Aurangabad, Dec 29:

The syllabus and marking scheme for the MHT-CET to be conducted in 2021 was released to provide aspirants information in advance for the preparation.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) conducts the State level CET every year to the Engineering and Pharmacy undergraduate degree courses admissions.

The test will have three papers, each carrying 100 marks for 50 questions multiple-choice questions. The names of the papers are Mathematics (90 minutes), Physics and Chemistry (90 minutes) and Biology (90 minutes).

There will be 80 per cent weightage to 12th class syllabus and 20 per cent for 11th class curricula.

The Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production and Curriculum Research has reduced syllabus of 12 class because of the spread of Novel coronavirus. The students need not study that excluded portion of curricula for the test.

The difficulty level for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry papers will be on the line of JEE-Mains while for biology, it will be on par with NEET.
