The MGM School, Padegaon celebrates Virtual Navratri

Aurangabad, Oct 26: The MGM School, Padegaon celebrated the first-ever online Navratri celebrations, recently. The entire staff warmly welcomed and greeted all the students and their family members,”Happy Navratri”. A video highlighting the significance of Navratri and its celebrations in various states of India was shown.

Shareen Fatema delivered a speech on this wonderful autumnal festival reiterating that Navratri is dedicated to the different forms of Goddess Durga during which the devotees worship nine avatars of the Goddess for nine days.

An animated video depicting the ancient Indian mythological story of Devi Durga killing the demon Mahishasur, was shown. The students looked very charming and glamorous in their traditional attire. It was very heartening to see their family members taking part with a lot of enthusiasm and dancing elegantly and gracefully from their respective homes to the tunes of Garba songs, which brought home the festive mood.
