Thieves burgle closed house at Bajajnagar

Aurangabad, Oct 29:

Thieves broke into a closed house at Bajajnagar and made off with Rs 3 lakh cash and 7 to 8 tolas gold jewels on Thursday morning.

Chotilal Dadaji Hemade, a Jai Bhagwan Housing Society resident at Bajajnagar in Waluj MIDC area, had gone to his native village at Nandurbar with family on Monday. The house was locked since then. On Thursday morning, his neighbor Devkar noticed that the lock of Nemade’s house was broken. He immediately informed about it to Hemade. Hemade’s relative, Sachin Ghuge reached the flat and noticed about the theft. Ghuge lodged a complaint at Waluj MIDC police station.

The thieves broke the door on Wednesday night and took away Rs 3 lakh cash kept in the cupboard and gold necklace, five rings, chain and earrings, all jewelry weighing around seven to eight tolas.

Crime branch PI, Anil Gaikwad, API Vijay Gherade, PSI Rajendra Bangar, Satish Pandit inspected the spot. Sniffer dog, Sweety cashed the smell of the thieves. She crossed the wall of Bajajvihar and went towards the road going towards Cidco Waluj Mahanagar.
