Winter chill makes a comeback

Aurangabad, Dec 6:

The city is once again experiencing a drop in temperature after a week with the Chikalthana observatory on Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 12.2 degrees Celsius.

Citizens have been experiencing fluctuations in temperature since the onset of winter. The cold suddenly increases and decreases after every two to three days. The city recorded a low of 12.0°C on November 11. This was the lowest temperature this winter. But then the minimum temperature rose. As a result, the cold had somewhat disappeared. Over the last few days, the minimum temperature in the city had reached 20.2°C. However, the temperature has started falling once again since last week. The Chikalthana observatory recorded a low of 12.2°C on Sunday. Even in the afternoon, the temperature remained chilly. The officials said that after December 15, the minimum temperature will drop sharply. A rapid drop in temperature is expected from December 20, with meteorologists predicting a drop of 5°C all over Maharashtra.
