Youth commits suicide in Waluj

Aurangabad, March 20:

An 18-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Waluj at around 3.30 pm on Saturday. Kartik Babasaheb Gande (Manishanagar, Waluj) is deceased.

According to information, Kartik worked as a contractual worker in a company in Waluj. Kartik had locked the door of his house when his parents were not at home on Saturday. At around 3.30 pm, Kartik's father Babasaheb Gande came home and found the door locked. Despite calling several times, he received no response from inside. Babasaheb then looked through the window and saw Kartik hanging from the ceiling fan. As Babasaheb shouted for help, the neighbours and the police reached the spot and admitted Kartik to the government hospital. But the doctors pronounced him dead. ASI Sheikh Saleem conducted a panchnama at the spot. A case was registered at Waluj police station. The cause of Kartik's suicide could not be ascertained.
