India cricketer Ajinkya Rahane's uncle Rajendra Radhakrishna Gaikwad died after he fell in a well in his native place. It is learned that Rajendra Gaikwad had gone to start the electric motor at the well in the field around 4.30 pm on Tuesday.
After he did not come the family members started searching for him. The body was later found n a well near a field well. Rajendra was taken to a nearby hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. He was cremated at Pravara Rural Hospital in Loni on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, son and two daughters. Ajinkya is currently in Mumbai with his family on the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
