Former Sri Lankan international Suraj Randiv, along with his fellow cricketers Chinthaka Jayasinghe and Waddington Mwayenga are  now workin as bus drivers in Melbourne for a France-based company called Transdev. All three cricketers have represented Sri Lanka at the top level but are currently driving a bus in Melbourne besides playing club cricket.Transdev is a France-based agency that employs 1200 drivers from diverse professions. Suraj Randiv, along with Chinthaka Jayasinghe and Waddington Mwayenga currently play in local cricket clubs and are hoping that public transports can get their respective cricket teams in the near future.

Recently, Suraj Randiv was employed as a net bowler by Cricket Australia to help the national team for the Test series against Australia.Suraj Randiv, who featured in the 2011 World Cup final against India, represented Sri Lanka in 12 Tests, 31 ODIs, and 7 T20Is in which he claimed 43, 36, and 7 wickets respectively. Randiv’s most controversial moment during his international career came during a 2010 tri-series fixture against Sri Lanka, where he deliberately bowled a no-ball to deny Virender Sehwag a century. He has also represented the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.As far as Chinthaka Jayasinghe is concerned, the right-arm medium pacer made his T20I debut against India in 2009 and went on to represent Sri Lanka in 5 matches.Waddington Mwayenga, on the other hand, was a medium-pacer, who represented Sri Lanka in 1 Test and 3 ODIs between 2002-2005, claiming 1 wicket each in both formats.
