At the final of IPL 2020, after winning the toss, Delhi Capitals posted a respectable 157 at end of 20 overs. It was the Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant partnership that brought DC back in the game after Trent Boult got Marcus Stoinis off the first ball of the match and then sent back Ajinkya Rahane in the next over as Mumbai Indians got off to a dream start. In the end Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 65 which powered Capitals to a par total.
Jayant Yadav cleaned up Shikhar Dhawan to further strengthen MI’s position in the match. MI brought in off-spinner Jayant Yadav in place of leg-spinner Rahul Chahar while DC went in with an unchanged XI.Both the teams have finished in the top two after the conclusion of the league-stage. This is the ourth time that these two sides are facing each other this season and Mumbai Indians have won all the three previous clashes.
