The team reinforcements made by Punjab Kings turned out to be a big disaster as the KL Rahul's men were bundled out for a paltry 120 after 20 overs. Mayank Agarwal (22) stuck around to keep Punjab afloat in the Powerplay but wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Rashid Khan (1/17) and Abhishek Sharma (2/24) turned the screws into their middle order before Khaleel Ahmed (3/21) delivered the killing blow with the wicket of Shahrukh Khan (22)
Earlier, Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bat against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. SRH has lost all its three games in the ongoing season so far while Punjab Kings has won only one out of three matches that they have played so far.
