Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals to lift their fifth IPL 2020 in Dubai, UAE today. In the final it was skipper Rohit Sharma who came good with a blistering half-century. Delhi failed to get breakthrough which made it impossible for them to defend their score.  Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant struck impressive fifties to propel DC to 156/7.

Iyer remained unbeaten on 65 off 50 balls and Pant scored 56 off 38 balls. This happened after MI’s Trent Boult removed Marcus Stoinis and Ajinkya Rahane early and then got the important wicket of Shimron Hetmyer. DC won the toss and opted to bat first in the Indian Premier League 2020 final in Dubai, UAE today. Jayant Yadav cleaned up Shikhar Dhawan to further strengthen MI’s position in the match. MI brought in off-spinner Jayant Yadav in place of leg-spinner Rahul Chahar while DC went in with an unchanged XI.
