Controversial Pakistani batsman Umar Akmal has been banned from all forms of cricket for 3 years on corruption charges."Umar Akmal handed three-year ban from all cricket by Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel Mr Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan," the Pakistan Cricket Board said in a tweet. 

Umar Akmal has been handed a three-year ban from all cricket by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan for his two breaches of PCB's anti corruption code.Umar, who turns 30 next month, pleaded guilty to not reporting the fixing offers which led to his provisional suspension on February 20th this year. The wicket-keeper batsman has had a history of disciplinary issues. He has represented Pakistan in 16 Tests and 121 ODIs.
