Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli have revealed the name of their first child. The couple has named their daughter Vamika. While the picture soon went viral, netizens are curious to know the name of the new star kid. Anushka revealed in her note that their daughter has added joy and happiness to their lives as she shared her name. Now, as per a Pinkvilla report, the name, Vamika, means Goddess Durga. The name happens to be of Indian origin. Further, as per Vedic Astrology, the person with the name Vamika is expected to be overly ambitious with a goal to build a bright future.

The couple welcomed their daughter on January 11, 2021. Back in January, when the couple was blessed with their first child, Virat had taken to social media to drop a statement on social media and announced the news about the same. In an interview prior to her baby's birth, Anushka had mentioned that they want to bring up their child away from the limelight. Keeping up with this, when their daughter was born, the couple had requested the paparazzi for privacy with a note. Virat Kohli posted an adorable comment on the picture. The cricketer wrote, “My whole world in one frame.” Anushka Sharma’s friends also posted comments welcoming Vamika to the world.
