Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, has wished the Bachchan family a speedy recovery after the family tested positive for COVID-19. Afridi took to Twitter to wish the father-son duo. "Best wishes for @SrBachchan and @juniorbachchan . Hope you recover well and soon," wrote the former all-rounder. Afridi was one of the many members of the Pakistan cricket fraternity -- including ten of the current side's members -- who contracted the virus. The former Pakistan captain recovered from COVID-19 last month. Earlier this month, Afridi announced that he and his family members had recovered from the infection.
On Sunday, Abhishek announced that his wife Aishwarya, and daughter, Aaradhya, have also tested positive. “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful. The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers,” he wrote on Twitter.They are in home quarantine while Amitabh and Abhishek are admitted at Nanavati hospital. The state authorities have sanitised Bachchans' residence and have declared it as containment zone.
